Lunar Process Modules begins with childhood dreams of going into space and asks what it takes to actually get there. And why do you want to go in the first place? Catch glimpses of the new songs, scenes, and videos that Mugwumpin is developing for their newest groundbreaking work “In Event of Moon Disaster” (premiering January 2018). With their signature blend of physical rigor and playful curiosity, Mugwumpin takes you on a performance expedition into space, our hunger for what lies beyond, and contingency plans, big and small.
This performance travels through multiple sites in the Chronicle building. The audience will be asked to climb stairs and stand in order to experience different installations throughout the building.
